Where We Are


Erith is situated on the south bank of the River Thames in Kent and is located in the London Borough of Bexley approximately 16 miles south east of Central London. Erith Riverside Shopping Centre dominates the retail offer in the town, providing over 165,000 sq.ft. of retailing accommodation (45 retail units) anchored by Wilkinson Matalan and Iceland Foods. It also benefits from 147 car parking spaces and 670 close by.

Getting here by road

From the South:

At junction 5 on the M25 continue towards the Dartford Crossing. Continue forward onto the A282 (signposted Dartford Toll Tunnel).

Leave the A282 at junction 1a then exit the roundabout onto the A206. Continue along the A206 following the signs to Erith and then the signs to Erith Riverside.

From the North:

After junction 30 on the M25 continue forward onto the A282.

Leave the A282 at junction 1a then exit the roundabout onto the A206. Continue along the A206 following the signs to Erith and then the signs to Erith Riverside.

Car Park

There is a 147 space car park accessible from Cross Street and Queen Street.

Car parking is free for the first three hours and a height restriction of 2.1m applies. *terms and conditions apply. Please see signage in car park.

A further 670 spaces are available at the neighbouring Morrison's car park, located opposite the shopping centre. This car park is accessed from James Watt Way.

Getting here by bus

London Bus Route 99 - Erith Town Centre and Woolwich Shopping Centre.

Six different bus routes serve Erith, including a Mobility Bus every Thursday, offering links to Queen Elizabeth Hospital, the parks at Danson, Hall Place and Lesnes Abbey, and many indoor leisure and retail attractions.

Getting here by train

The Erith railway station, managed by South Eastern Trains, is only a short walk from the town centre.

Peak service includes hourly trains from this station to London Charing Cross and London Cannon Street via Woolwich and Greenwich to the west. Peak service to the east includes hourly trains to Dartford and a limited service to Crayford or Gravesend and Gillingham.

Evening, weekend, and especially Sunday train service is extremely limited.

Erith is in Travelcard zone 6.
